Breast cancer n°2 |
The main treatment of breast cancer is surgery; thanks to scientific and technical advances and early screening of very small tumours, it is often possible to keep the breast and to remove only the tumour itself. “Conservative” surgery must be backed up very often with complementary treatments, called “adjuvant”, so as to eliminate all tumour cells and by doing so to prevent cancer recurrence risks. |
