When people with AIDS take their treatment regularly, they can return to a good many activities: work, leisure, travel, having not only a normal family life and friends but also a love affair, and even, with medical follow-up and appropriate advice, they can consider having a child.People living with HIV and their family circle ask themselves many questions concerning treatment and daily life; we’ll try to answer them in this strip cartoon. So as to take no chances in the struggle against HIV aggressions, patients have to benefit not only from the most efficient treatments most often combining multiple drugs (triple therapy) but also from nutritional, psychological and emotional tips; the family circle and friends play an important role in the follow-up of patient and his acceptance of treatment. |
